  I am receiving hundreds of the same email from WP. Several months ago I received hundreds of the same email. Then they stopped coming but now have started again. Does that mean that one of us has been hacked?

  That site is a WordPress.ORG install and not a hosted by WordPress.COM blog. Our support docs do not apply to it. We cannot help you as we do not provide support for any blogs that are not hosted by WordPress.COM.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

  Hi there!

  It looks like this is an email asking you to approve a comment on your site. Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com, but it sounds like your using Comments through Jetpack. You can update your comment email settings in your dashboard at Settings > Discussion.
