Are you guys working today? I need some help
-
I have two sites and one url. I need one site and one url
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
I have two sites: bellmat.wordpress.com and bellmat.com.
the same url, however will go to both sites
-
This because the domain bellmat.com is mapped to your original site at bellmat.wordpress.com
I think this support page explains it well!

Hi.
This has already been done and paid for.
What happened is that I thought I had deleted the first attempt and started a new site. However, the previous site is still there with some errors and the new site is up with different errors.
Thanks!

Do you have any thoughts on how I can fix this?
I am concerned I’ll lose my url if I delete one of the sites.
Thanks!

Hmmm!
You could delete one of your sites or make it private?
These documents will help:
Just be sure that your domain is mapped to the site you are keeping active.
This is a user support forum. But it is moderated by staff also.
All the best,

Please don’t delete anything –
The spare site can be set to “Private” to keep people out
-
bellmat.wordpress.com – is the “spare” site – but it has a really nice class name that matches you custom domain name of bellmat.com – please set bellmat.wordpress.com to Private while we sort of sort things out ( Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading >> Visible to only those I choose – remember to save changes)
Some people like the custom domain name to match the base blog – so what you could do would be to transfer the domain mapping to bellmat.wordpress.com if you wanted – the domain mapping covers up the base blog but I think matching is a bit more “class” and also less confusing in the Dashboard
Nameservers Validated!
Congratulations! The nameservers appear to be set up correctly for bellmat.com.
More Information
Primary Blog is Setbellmat.com is set as the primary domain for bellweathermaterials.wordpress.com and will appear in the address bar when you visit the site.

I can transfer the http://bellmat.com/ Domain Mapping to any WordPress.com site that you have set up.
However, you are not posting from the WordPres.com user account that owns the domain Mapping upgrade for http://bellmat.com/. In order to move that upgrade to another site, you would need to make the request from the account that owns it.

Hi –
Sorry to be late – got taken hostage by James Bond last night.
I thought I had deleted the site that now has bellmat.com. I set up my new site which is called by WP bellmat.wordpress.com. When I contacted support, I asked them to drop the “wordpress” and they did but they dropped it on the wrong account. They were looking at my old site and I was trying to work on my new one. It has been a nightmare to try to fix it.
They also misspelled the name of my company on the old site – they have it as BellweAther, not bellwether. Wether is a sheep – you know what weather is. I have asked repeatedly for them to fix it but they keep saying it’s not misspelled. On the old site it’s still got the A.
Both sites come up with the url: bellmat.com. If there are no privacy locks, the old site, now called bellmat.com comes up. If I privatize bellmat.com, then the new site, bellmat.wordpress.com comes up.
I want one site. I want the url to be bellmat.com.
My understanding of wordpress is that if I delete the one I don’t want, I lose my url forever.
I’m very nervous about this. I have the content, I’m ready to load, but I have to get rid of one of the sites.

Hi Rootjosh,
The explanation is above. I’m logged into the WP account for which I paid to have the “WordPress” dropped. This is the account I don’t want and didn’t realize WP staff were working from.
The account I want to use is now called bellmat.wordpress.com.
It took me a while to realize that there were two accounts. WP staff and I were at cross purposes because they were looking at bellmat.com (the old site I don’t want) and I was looking at bellmat.wordpress.com (the sit I DO want).
I’m terrified I’ll lose my bellmat.com url (I own the domain) because that’s where customers will go to see my product.
Thanks! Priscilla

Yes. Two sentences:
The sites were separate so no problem deleting one, which I did.
My url is lodged at Yahoo not WP so I needn’t worry about losing it.
Now I’m trying to get a Theme set up and so far it’s not working. Will probably be back later.
Thanks so much for following up.
