Are you shutting down book blogs?

    Hello,

    I received a mail from a person I work with, informing me that WordPress is shutting down free book blogs without any warning.

    Is that true? Is my blog in danger of shutting down?

    I have cooperation with Publishers and publicists on spreading the word about new books, reviewing them and share them in contests with me readers. I don’t earn something, other than the books I get to read.

    Therefore, if this is something that may come knocking my door, I would like to know it in advance and also understand the reason behind it.

    To be honest I was thinking of upgrading my plan, but the rumours I hear make me to rethink…

    Hi there,

    We have no problem with sites that publish original book reviews. Sites that only republish pre-written book release posts do run the risk of being suspended, though, as that is not original content. But that decision is made by our terms of service team if and when a site is reported.
