Are you unable to renew your domain?

    Even thought I’m an admin, it is not allowing me to renew my domain. I keep getting the following message ‘This blog is not subscribed to some of these products. Did you mean to purchase them?’

    Please help, as our blog is expiring on August 31, 2015. Our blog domain is: blog.kaon.com

    Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address. That person is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account and who purchases and rnews the upgrades for the blogs registered under their username account

    You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.

    Clicking this link should display all blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

    under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased the domain mapping upgrade, to check your subscription and auto-renew status to assure that the domain doesn’t expire.

    Invalid CNAME
    Your domain has a CNAME record, but its value is incorrect. The record should point blog.kaon.com to kaoninteractive.wordpress.com. It is currently set to kaoninteractive.wordpress.COM.

    Hi Dana,

    The upgrades on the blog http://blog.kaon.com/ are owned by a different WordPress.com user, the administrator user who created the blog originally. That user will need to log in to their account and visit the My Upgrades page to renew them. (Those upgrades include Custom Design and Domain Mapping.)

    You can view a full list of all of the users on the blog under Users > All Users in the blog’s WP Admin dashboard if you need.

    Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that!

    Thanks but we are not sure how to find who the original blog owner is. There are currently 4 administrators on the account and we have no way to figure out who started it all. Also, for instance, what if we no longer have their account information as they are no longer a part of the blog?

    Hi kpauloski123,

    We heard from the account that owned this blog and its upgrades, and everything was transferred to your account. You can now manage these upgrades from your My Upgrades page.

    Everything was renewed before it was transferred to you, so you’re all set until next year. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
