area under header is not white – becomes background color
-
Hi
I started my blog (http://honeyand toby.com) using the Theme Pilcrow, but want to change it to 2011. When I try to preview or change to 2011, the area where the posts are supposed to display will not show as white – it picks up whatever the background color is for the site. Only the first 1/4 inch or so below the header shows as white – I think the white should extend through the whole post area. Having the background color on the whole screen gives a very monochrome effect – not something I was looking to achieve. This also happens when I preview/convert this blog to other themes, including Duster and 2010.
My other blog (http:/mixwellandserve.com) that was written using Theme 2010, and which was converted to Pilcrow and is now in 2011 does not have this problem.
I did not change the CSS code and don’t have a clue about why this is happening. I checked and could not find a discussion of exactly this problem on the forum. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi
Just a correction to the web address, the blog with the problem of no white color in the post area is http://honeyandtoby.com. Sorry for the errant space in the url above. -
That’s caused by a stray HTML tag in your post “Copycat”. If you are familiar with HTML, edit the post in the HTML editor and delete the closing div tag at the end of the text (after “Honey”). If not, go to Settings>Writing, tick the option “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”, click Save Changes, then make any insignificant change to the post such as adding then removing a space and click Update.

Many, Many thanks. Some of the posts were imported in from Blogger and I thought I had cleaned up all the html that came with those imported posts. That was the cause of the problem.

Hey, I’m getting the same thing on my blog: http://www.lecturesbyyogibhajan.com – but I haven’t imported any of my posts from anywhere except WP 3.1… Um… would you take a look at mine and see why this is?
How did you find that stray tag?
