Argent Page Banner

The home page banner image in my Argent theme site changes size on each subsequent page. I’ve tried removing the menu bar entirely, but it didn’t help. Aside from the home page, all other pages shrink the banner image.
Also, is it possible to add an image to the menu bar rather than text?

The Argent demo displays the same behavior, so this effect is an element of the theme’s design. It might be possible to modify this behavior with CSS customization. If you’re interested in pursuing that option, I suggest that you either submit a separate request to the CSS Customization forum, or add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.

I haven’t seen that done on any WordPress.com themes, but it might be possible. Please add a “modlook” tag to call for staff attention if you’d like to inquire of staff about such a feature.

Thank you. I’ve added the tag for more inquiry. I plan to update an existing WordPress.org site with the Argent theme and would like the flexibility to modify the image header size and possibly add an image to a menu bar item.

Hi there,
It is possible to force your header image to display at the same size on all pages using CSS, but you need a site with the Premium Plan to do that on WordPress.com. It should be possible to do on a WordPress.org site as well, but it would be better if you asked in the self-hosted forum for this theme about that, as the same theme on .com and .org does not necessarily work the same.
It’s not possible to add images in the menu on WordPress.com. It might be possible on .org, but you’ll need to ask in their forums to know for sure.
