Argent parent pages

  Hi,
  I’ve just started setting this theme up and in page attributes it does not show an option for parent pages. I could do with these as I want a couple of pages that come off my main ones. I have set it up as the front page template.

  Hi,

  I’ve just started setting this theme up and in page attributes it does not show an option for parent pages.

  In the so-called “classic editor,” in the page attributes part of the settings module of a new page, you should see a parent page toggle button, that is set on top level by default. Below the button you should read “Disable to select a parent page.” If you’re not seeing that then can you provide a screenshot that shows what you’re seeing instead?

  Hi there,

  I’ve checked on my test site with Argent active and in the Page Attributes section on the editor, I’m seeing page template and also Parent page to select.

  When I went to one of your pages in the editor, on your account I can see the Parent page dropdown in Attributes.

  Let’s first off rule out a browser caching issue. Can you clear your browser’s cache and then go back into the editor to see if it shows?

  Solve Common Browser Issues

  As a further test, if the above doesn’t work, can you try a different browser on your computer, if you have one installed?

  Let us know if you still are having problems.

  Hi, and thanks for your replies.
  Sorry for delay in replying, too many things on the go!
  I have just gone into classic editor and it doesn’t show, but I haven’t cleared the cache yet, so I’ll do that next and come back to you.

  One question I do have is, can you only select parent or child pages when you first set them up?! If so, I’ll have to start again.
  No need to reply at present, clearing the cache may do the trick, and I don’t want to waste either of your times.

  No, you can change this at any time using the Page Attributes section in the editor, so just edit the page in question, change it, and then update the page again.
