Argent Theme – Change Default Gallery View

Hi :)
I’m currently working on a project based on the Argent theme, which was working fine so far.
Is there any way to change the default gallery view from Carousel to anything else – such as tiled mosaic, for instance?

I’m not quite sure which carousel you’re referring to – do you mean this view?

That is a special gallery type that Argent creates, and it’s not possible to override it.
That said, there might be a way to turn off that functionality on a self-hosted site with some custom coding. Could you post over in the Argent forum at WordPress.org:
