Argent Theme: Order of Portfolios

    Argent Theme
I have six portfolios and they have appeared in the order I created them,
    two rows of three boxes.

However, I would like to change the order so they display differently on screen.

    my page winningresumesaustralia.com

I would like the Career Starter to be first (top left) then Career Builder (top centre) then Career Leader (top right).

Each time I add a portfolio, the ‘newest’ is added at the top left position, pushing the others along.

Please let me know how to resolve as I really like this theme and am coming to grips with the many functions available. Many thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

By default portfolio projects appear in chronological order with portfolio shortcode, which is the reverse of the order they display with the “show portfolio section” option at Customize > Theme Options > Front Page Portfolio section settings, but that alone is not going to be a solution in this case.

You may exercise greater control over the order in which the projects appear on the front page with the front page template assigned by modifying the publish dates of the projects. In this case, set the one you wish to appear at the top left to the oldest date. The top row middle project will have the second oldest date. And the one at the left of the top row will have the third oldest date. Dates of the others may be modified or left alone, to suit your requirements.

By combining publish date modification, on just the three you wish to appear in the top row in a specific order, with the introduction of a portfolio shortcode in the content of the static front page, you should be able to achieve the precise order you want. Note that, if you choose to use portfolio shortcode, at Customize you should uncheck “show portfolio section” at Customize > Theme Options > Front Page Portfolio section settings. Otherwise the portfolio will be displayed twice, in different orders.
