Argent theme – Portfolio link error

    First post on the forum, so first of all ‘Hello all!’

    I recently created a blog with the new Argent theme and after a bit of head scratching and googling I managed to set it all up properly.

    Today I suddenly ran into an issue when clicking the ‘Portfolio’ button on the custom menu. Usually it would take me to my portfolio and display my projects, but now it’s suddenly saying “Oops! That page can’t be found. It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?”

    Comes as a big surprise as it worked just fine this morning and I made only one change since then (I deleted a totally unrelated post category). I checked all the relevant settings, it still says ‘Show Portfolio Section’ under ‘Customize’, the projects are all still there in the dashboard and the custom link that sits behind the ‘Portfolio’ menu button is exactly as it’s supposed to be: ‘http://thefoxtakespictures.wordpress.com/portfolio/

    Also, while I can see my projects in the Dashboard and also edit them, confirming that they are there and all the content is there, when I click ‘View’ in the Dashboard (the little option right next to Edit, Quick edit and Trash right under the project link) it also takes me to the “Oops!” page.

    Consequently I have no idea whatsoever what happened. I hope someone here knows a way around this.

    Hello timethief,

    I checked your links and fixed the problem. The FAQ about portfolios contained the solution under ‘Troubleshooting’. I had come up with this step myself (disabling, then enabling portfolios again), but had done so under ‘Customize’ => ‘Theme options’ instead of the ‘Write’ settings in the Dashboard.
