Argent Theme – Remove project type heading when search for project type
-
I want to have separate portfolios for my different types of art like photography, painting, refurnishing etc. I have been having success making it happen by creating a link in the Menu to that specific project type. The only thing is that under the header is this big title “Project type: name of project type” and I find it distracting. Is there a way to remove this heading?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Actually I noticed even for the Portfolio ‘page’ it has a heading “Projects” under the main header. Is there a way to remove these titles so it is just the site header and then the portfolio images?

You can hide elements like page titles with custom CSS, which is available with the Premium or Business plans.
If you need help with the CSS code after upgrading your site, just let me know, or feel free to post in our CSS Customization forum.

Hi there kathrynwp – I would also like to do the above and I am able to edit the CSS – any help would be appreciated!
Thanks -
Sorry just to clarify I’d still like the Project type name, but without it saying ‘Project Type:’ ahead of it…
Is that possible? I know how to hide the title all togetherThanks

selmaw – it’s not possible to remove just part of the HTML element containing the project page title – you can only hide the whole thing.

Hi kathrynwp – thanks for replying.
Ah that’s a shame. If you know a way to add in an element like a page title that would be great! No worries if not.
Thanks,

Selma – the automatically generated portfolio pages have pre-set page titles. You could try the portfolio shortcode instead if you need more flexibility – you could then add a regular page title.
