argh! Access!!!

  • Unknown's avatar

I created my pages in 2006. It was a free account. Somehow, I ended up with two ‘pages’ with two different user names and emails, but somehow linked to the 1st account. I know that doesn’t make sense. Both kina1964 and lilkina are my WordPress accounts. I can view Kina1964 online. I can hit the account profile icon and it goes to lilkina. But none of the pages related to Kina1964 are available at lilkina. ???????

Password recovery doesn’t work because the email associated with kina1964 is no longer in service.

I never really understood the sub-pages anyway. But a life changing event has occurred and I want to place it in my kina1964 page from 2006.

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Unknown

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

I can view Kina1964 online. I can hit the account profile icon and it goes to lilkina.

You’re currently logged in as lilkina

The profile icon goes to the account you’re currently logged in as, not the account that owns the site you’re viewing. So no matter what site you’re looking at, clicking the profile icon will always take you to the lilkina profile, as long as you’re logged in as this account, and you’ll only be able to access sites that belong to this profile.

To access your kina1964 account and make changes to the sites in that account, you need to completely log out of the lilkina account first, then log back in using the other username.

Password recovery doesn’t work because the email associated with kina1964 is no longer in service.

If you don’t remember the password for the kina1964 account and don’t have access to the email any more, you’ll need to verify your ownership of that account via another method before we can give you access:

    https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/

If you’re not able to provide one of the forms of verification we ask for there, then I’m afraid we won’t be able to give you access to that account.
