Arranging photoes in a posts

I am using WordPress.org and trying to upload several pictures in one post. All pictures are in thumbnail sizes (apprx. 150 x 150). But, i can’t seem to get them arranged in 3-4 pictures in a row. How do I do that? It waste so much of space.
