arranging pictures on my posts – newbie
-
Hi there, Im new to WordPress and am having a few complications arranging the photos on my posts. I looked through the other questions, but did not find what I needed. I was trying to arrange photos in a square, like 4 pictures in a grid rather than below eachother..or even 2 beside eachother. The placement seems wonky when I arrange them using the alignment options with my text around it…any ideas? Thanks!

Here is code for 4 pictures, centered.
URL_OF_IMAGE will start with http:// and end with jpg (or jpg, jpeg, png, gif, pdf, doc, ppt, odt, pptx, docx).
Width of images can be adjusted, but don’t exceed a total of 500 (maximum width for Misty Look. And remember the images have frames so, for example: 2 images of 240 or 245 (?) will be the maximum. The key thing to remember is that each picture should be set to “alignnone” and the paragraph tags around the pictures are what aligns the images.
<p style="text-align:center;"><a><img class="alignnone" src="URL_OF_IMAGE1" alt="" width="150" /></a><a><img class="alignnone" src="URL_OF_IMAGE2" alt="" width="150" /></a> <a><img class="alignnone" src="URL_OF_IMAGE3" alt="" width="150" /></a><a><img class="alignnone" src="URL_OF_IMAGE4" alt="" width="150" /></a></p>Also note that in Misty Look, if you have 2 or more pictures that link to larger images or to other pages, that theme will insert a dashed line under them. There may be a way to avoid it, but I don’t know.
