  how can I arrange my posts in chronological order by date

  Posts are arranged in reverse chronological order for a reason. The newest post displays first because once you had many posts on a site then new visitors may tire of scrolling past 100s of posts at each visit to get to the new content. They may even assume there is no new content to see if the same post always displays first.
  However there may be a good reason to place the oldest post first, if someone was perhaps writing chapters of a book. See:
