Arrow keys

    Here’s a question: when working on an article, let’s say I misspell “hlep”. I want to go back just a few spaces so I use the left arrow key. ALAS, instead of moving my cursor back but a space or two, the entire article LEAPS to the top. I have to then move the mouse, scroll, see where the crap I was, and use the mouse to highlight the offending letters and retype. If I apply that same logic to the right arrow key, WOOOP! – all the way to the bottom of the article.

    Surely that’s the most ineffectual use of the arrow keys in the history of arrow key usage. Why is it like that and how can I change it so I can stay where I’m typing without jumping like a manic qbert all over the page?
