Arrow looking leftwards rather than rightwards

In my photoblog, I have the last entry on the top, and below each photo, there is an arrow that takes the reader to the previous post. This arrow used to be looking rightwards, while in the last couple of days, I noticed that it is leftwards, which is confusing for readers are used to the traditional system. I have been trying for ways to solve that, to no avail. Please, help and suggetions are more than welcome.

Whether older/newer should be right/left or vv is an unresolved designers’ dispute. If WP decided to change that, you can’t do anything other than posting a request in the Themes forum (that forum is constantly monitored by the WP theme team).

Irrelevant but useful: there’s no point uploading and inserting 1600px wide images when the theme displays them at maximum 840. You’re simply wasting your storage space and increasing the loading time of your blog pages. Ideally you should downsize copies of your images in an image editing application to pixel width 840 (or less than 800, if you want the colored bg of the theme on all four sides of the images), and upload and insert those copies. This will give you better quality as well, because images downsized by WP lose some color and sharpness – see here:

Thank you very much for the tip and also for your comment about the arrows! Very much appreciated.
