article images are broken, may have expired URL certificates

    I posted an article in mid-December, all looked fine. Then yesterday (1Jan26) the images in the article are no longer appearing. When I edit an image in the post and click on the current “media link” I see this:

    so I’m guessing that some certificates need to be renewed for 2026. Can someone at WordPress please address this, thanks.

    never mind ! When I first created the article I copied images from my LinkedIn articles, those links (you can see one in the screencap above) are LinkedIn CDN, so I edited the article and replaced those with original image uploads. Not a WordPress problem
