Article Ping & Autodiscovery?
-
Hello,
I have a blog which is running using another system, the trackback uri is included in the article page as rdf such as the following:
<!– <rdf:RDF xmlns:rdf=”http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#”
xmlns:dc=”http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/”
xmlns:trackback=”http://madskills.com/public/xml/rss/module/trackback/”><rdf:Description
rdf:about=”http://abc.blog.com/index/771636″
dc:identifier=”http://abc.blog.com/index/771636″
dc:title=”TEST”
trackback:ping=”http://abc.blog.com/trackback/771636″/></rdf:RDF> –>So, Suppose if I include the uri
http://abc.blog.com/index/771636in my wordpress post, will wordpress ping to thehttp://abc.blog.com/trackback.php?id=771636automatically?So far I have tested, only if I put
http://abc.blog.com/trackback.php?id=771636in the trackback field, then it will work, otherwise, autodiscovery never work in the above way. -
Do you have a blog hosted here at wp.com? If not, you need to be over at http://wordpress.org/support/
