Article Ping & Autodiscovery?

  Hello,

  I have a blog which is running using another system, the trackback uri is included in the article page as rdf such as the following:

  trackback:ping=”http://abc.blog.com/trackback/771636″/></rdf:RDF> –>

  So, Suppose if I include the uri http://abc.blog.com/index/771636 in my wordpress post, will wordpress ping to the http://abc.blog.com/trackback.php?id=771636 automatically?

  So far I have tested, only if I put http://abc.blog.com/trackback.php?id=771636 in the trackback field, then it will work, otherwise, autodiscovery never work in the above way.
