article published in twitter not showing a preview of article
-
Hi when I first used to post articles in twitter either with publicize or just by copying and pasting a URL from my blog a preview would show up in the tweet.
I noticed once I bought and switched to a domain http://www.ducksnpucks.com and not http://www.ducksnpucks.wordpress.com (as requested for WordsAds) now the previews do not show up in twitter. Only the URL will show up without a preview.
Anyway to fix this?
Thanks.

Hi Mike, When you share using the Publicize, with sharing buttons, or with a link pasted into Twitter, you’ll see the name of your Post, the URL, and the @site owner. If you want any additional text, you will have to add that manually. It’s not an automated setting.
Hope this sheds some light! If you have any other questions at all, let me know. Cheers!

Thank you. The problem I have is an article used to show a small photo and a short brief of the article and now it doesn’t in twitter. I am not sure how to fix it.

Hi again!
Could you please try to actions for me, to see if we can get your Twitter Cards working:
- Make sure your URL is validated at Twitter (you can also attempt to re-validate):
https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/validation/validator
Return to your site, clear its cache, and then try to share a post again.
Info on cache-clearing:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache - If this doesn’t work, I’d like to see what happens if you turn off the Google + association for your post. You can do this by scrolling down to the bottom of the post, deselecting the Google + option, and saving your post. Then, try to link to Twitter again.
Thanks very much. Looking forward to hearing how this testing works out.
