Articles in HTML and resized images
-
Hello! Since i’ve updated wordpress recently, i somehow can’t create a new article or modify an existing one using blocs like before. Everything is in HTML and unfortunately, i’m not a real tech savvy person so it gets confusing and difficult really fast.
Also, everytime i download a new image, it gets redimensioned to a smaller size. I can’t seem to keep the original. I did a little research and found that it’s on purpose to load the pages faster but i kind of need them to be at their intended size.If anyone can help me and explain things to me like a baby, that would be great!
Thank you for your time!WP.com: Unknown

Hey there!
It looks like your site isn’t hosted on WordPress.com but it’s using the open-source WordPress.org software and hosted at 1&1 IONOS. To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
Based on what you’ve said, it sounds like it could be a compatibility issue with one of the plugins or themes if everything worked prior to the WordPress update.
On these forums, we can only help with sites hosted on WordPress.com. I would recommend reaching out to your hosting provider for additional information on this, they might be able to point you further in the right direction.
If you’re looking to post in the community forums for WordPress.org here’s the correct link for that: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Hope this helps!
