articles to different pages

Can I put the articles to a different page… example: i have categorized some stuff (by pages ’cause I don’t want to have every post on same page) and I want to post different text under different categories.

You can put articles in posts for sure. If you are concerned about having different information under each category not showing on the main page (with all together) the only real thing you can do is limit the number of posts showing on the main page through Admin => Options => Reading to limit the articles showing on the main page. If you ‘tag’ your articles to a particular category, readers can still click on your categories and bring up all the content of those categories.

I think I have a similar problem. Bear with me please, I’m a newb only been doing this about four days.
I have my main page, everything is fine.
I made a new page for posting artwork into. The first one went up fine, but I want to be able to post all my artwork into that page, every time I post something else it’ goes to my main page, not my art work page.
Is there a way to specify what posts go into which page?
