articles wont appear/dissappear

i tried to publish 3 articles on my blog today, but after i refreshed the page each one of them vanished. i cleared my cache and restarted firefox, but anything i published today doesnt appear…?

yes. the last one.
i tried to publish two articles before that day, each appeared on the page, but after a refresh, the appeared in the draft sections. so i thought there might be something wrong with the article, and i tried to publish it again, but the same happened again.

That sounds really odd.
Did you get the “Your Post has been Published” screen after you published the posts? The one where with the sidebar congratulating you on the new post, and suggesting some tags.
Do you mind trying to publish these again now? There doesn’t seem to be any reason why your posts wouldn’t be fully published. I can’t see any error on your blog’s log either.
Give it another try now and I’ll see if there’s anything weird going on behind the scenes.

this is really unnerving. tried it agian just right now. if i publish a picture it works fine, but if i publish an article it shows the ‘your post has been published screen’ and the post itself, but when i go to the main page the article is gone, and i find it in the dashboard in the drafts section…

Hey there.
I have been investigating this problem and there seems to be a chance that this is caused by rogue tabs. Let me detail that.
The Post Editor has an auto save feature that periodically saves your post while you are editing it. If multiple tabs in your browser are editing the same Post, the Editor in each tab will be continually overwriting what the other tabs have saved, ensuing a lot of unexpected chaos.
One case where this confusion happens often is when you Preview a post, and in the Preview window you go to click Edit Post, this leads to you having two Editor windows open. The changes continually saved include the “Draft” status.
Does this ring a bell? Would you mind trying to Publish a post, while making sure that you only have one single window, with one single tab, open? Be mindful of other laptops or tablets that might have the Editor open.
