Artist Registry Form

I would like to be able to create a form for local artists to fill out and upload snapshots and documentation of their work for free hosting and searching by potential employers. How can I create this type of form and webpage developer/database in Word Press? Thanks!

Hi there. You can’t do this in WordPress.com. While you can add a contact form, people can’t upload images via the contact form and the form is forwarded to your email, it won’t let visitors create a profile or portfolio on your site.
The only way anyone can upload content to your site is if you invite them to become a user. You can always use the contact form to let them request to be added and then send them an invitation to allow them to post, but this is risky as it will give strangers access to your blog’s dashboard, so think carefully before you do something like this. Also keep in mind you only have 3GB of media storage, and if a lot of people upload high-resolution images you’ll burn through that in no time.
