aruba domain with email not working with wordpress
-
Hello,
my domain is registered via Aruba.it.
I manage my site via wordpress, but I can’t seem to make my emails work properly.I contacted Aruba support and they told me that to have email working i have to set my DNS primary records to the default aruba ones and then set the secondary ones to wordpress.
I’m a bit puzzled about this argument since I’ve been writing back and forth with them and they all seem to be saying that it’s not possible to have a configuration like this.
Do you know what’s the correct configuration for this kind of setup?
Again
Registrar: Aruba.it
email: hosted on aruba.it
Website management: WordPressat the moment emails are not working.
MX records in my wordpress “my domains” is set to IP I got from email sent from webmail of aruba.
I tried this way to see if was working but doesn’t.If I revert the DNS records in Aruba to use its internal ones, obviously i will loose my connection with wozuup.com
They recommend to add “secondary NS records” for wordpress once this change has been implemented.Any help?!?!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I contacted Aruba support and they told me that to have email working i have to set my DNS primary records to the default aruba ones and then set the secondary ones to wordpress.
So what I’m assuming is that you need to keep your name servers set to Aruba, and map your domain via A records – IP addresses. We don’t have a single IP address for your site since we have your site on a number of geographically-diverse servers to improve speed and uptime.
We change out the IPs we use based on when different datacenters/server go online.
If you want to map your domain using A records, please be sure to create at least two, pointing to the two IPs from the list below.
- 192.0.78.12
- 192.0.78.13
Then set the nameservers to Aruba.

thank you !!
When adding the A records it asks me for the “host”.
the format is like this:
[ ] .wozuup.com
IP: 192.0.78.12what should i put in the text box to fill up?!
Thanks heaps.

I’m not sure. It would be up to your registrar. Please contact their support team. If you just provide them the IPs they will know what to do.
