  Will WP offer links to alternatives to Facebook and esp. Twitter (for example, Mastadon) so posts here are auto-posted there? Are there any plans?

  Hi there!

  While we don’t have any immediate plans to add additional social media accounts to the Social sharing feature, there is an open request to add Mastodon. I went ahead and added your interest to that feature request.
