Ascetica Theme blury Featured Images
-
I have a custom design where I have used Ascetica as a base and there seems to be a line of html that shrinks the featured image in the landing page to a 1″ square. When I expand it back to 150X150 px image in my blog it is blurry.
<img width="50" height="50" class="attachment-list-th wp-post-image" alt="Dollar House 300x300" src="http://bayarearealestatenews.files.wordpress.com/2013/12/dollar-house-300x300.jpg?w=50&h=50&crop=1">Does anyone know how I can solve image blurry problem. These pictures were originally 300X300 pixels.
I’m pretty new to CSS and I just can’t figure out how to get around this html code in Ascetica. Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Hi, the theme sets the image size at 50px square, so when you enter CSS to make the images larger, you are asking the browser to make them larger, and browsers aren’t equipped to do a proper resizing of the images, so they lose quality. It would require editing of the theme PHP script files to resize the images properly, and we cannot edit the theme files here at WordPress.com.
