Aside Format Color in Twenty Twelve

When I format my post as an aside, the shading behind the post text is blue, which does not coordinate well with my header photo or background. When I go to themes>appearance>customize and work with the color palette, it shows the shading behind the same post as a pale peach color that WOULD work well with my slightly darker background color and my photo. However, when I save and go view my blog, the blue is back.

I can’t figure out if the blue is the default color, which can’t be changed without CSS, or if I am somehow just not saving correctly in the customize area (I am clicking on save).

I won’t be upgrading any time soon, so if it’s supposed to be blue no matter what, I’ll just not use the aside format. But it does look great when I get that glimpse of peach text background behind my aside in the customize module.

Is it possible to change the Aside format background color in the Twenty Twelve theme? Thanks
