Aside Format does not condense blog post

    I changed the Default Post Format from Standard to Aside.

    The format still appears as Standard, not Aside.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

    The purpose of the Aside post format is not to abbreviate the content of a post. The Understanding Post Formats section of the Post Formats support page indicates that the Aside format is designed “for brief snippets of text that aren’t quite whole blog posts, such as quick thoughts and anecdotes.”

    If you would like to abbreviate a certain post on the blog page, then you may insert the More Tag in the post at the point where you’d like it truncated on the blog page.

    Could you please tell me where you changed the default post format so I can have a look and see why it’s not taking effect?
