asigne my domain to free wordpress blog

  Hi, I have created a free blog on wordpress, I am trying to use a domain I already own on it now, but the company asks me for the IP adress of word-press for it, all I find on wordpress is a domain mapping option I have to pay for 11€. does that mean I have to pay again to use this domain I already own on my wordpress blog?

  Domain Mapping and Domain Registration are separate services, and both are required to use a custom domain with a WordPress.com site.
