Ask WordPress to close a website where you no longer have access codes
-
Hi,
I’ve been working for an association for 3 years that has existed for 21 years. This one has an official website online for a few years on soseducation.org which is hosted by OVH.
And a little while ago, I saw that there was a very old site of theirs (obsolete) which was still online on the Internet and which is hosted directly by WordPress: soseducation.wordpress.com/. None of the members of the association remember who created this site and they don’t have access codes to this site… This is very embarrassing.Do you know if it is possible to ask WordPress to close this website OR how it is possible to recover the access codes from WordPress please?
Knowing that we can’t even use “Forgot password” because the members of the association don’t know if the login email address has not been deleted since.I thank you for your precious help.

If you are unable to fill out the account recovery form and do not have any proof of ownership, please contact our Account Recovery Team directly at
passwordhelp@wordpress.comas they will provide options for potentially privatizing the site. Please visit our support page for more information on recovering your account.
Thanks!
