Askimet marking my comments as Spam

It appears, as of today, that every comment I make when logged on as me is being marked as spam, whether on my blog or on another WordPress blog. Anybody else seeing this??

It’s very common. I’ve noticed we’re getting inundated by spam today, so they probably tightened things up to cope.
Just go to your Akismet file and un-spam yourself on your own blog. Do this enough times and Akismet will learn. It usually takes a few hours to process, though, so give it some time.

OK, I’ll see how it goes then – I’d never seen this before today.
I just tried a few tests – posting with different information – and it seems to be triggered on using http://theagetocome.wordpress.com information as the website, which strikes me as an odd criteria, but hey, what do I know? ;-)

It happens quite a lot: I even see that some spams are still getting through. I’ve had nearly a thousand today, so it makes sense they’ll tighten up. Don’t comment on other WP.com blogs until you’ve posted and unspammed yourself on your own blog enough to see that your comments are being accepted right away. Once they start going through on your own blog that means you’re clear for all of WordPress.com.
