Askimet Spamming Safe Comments

  I’ve been using wordpress for about a month now and as my blog has become more popular, people have started to regularly leave comments after every post. However, a couple regular commenters have been having problems with the Askimet. Whenever they comment, their comments go straight into the spam queue. They leave a webpage and e-mail address when they leave a comment; however, other who leave webpages and e-mail address don’t get picked up by Askimet. This is rather frustrating for me as I have to fetch their comments from the spam queue mark them not spam. The comments going to spam has really put a hamper on any discussion that goes on in my blog because I usually approve the messages several hours after they are actually published.

  This has been happening daily for a week now. I’ve searched all over the dashboard with no luck, so I’m asking how can I fix this problem?

  99% of the time un-spamming a comment will prevent it from happening again in future.
