Asking a question

writerwannabe763, your account is only an Editor on that blog, so you don’t have access to all the features. You’ll need to be promoted to an Administrator role.

Is she the Admin of her blog, or just an Editor, etc? Is there a row of icons down the left-hand side of the blog, and what happens when she clicks on them?
-
I am now an admin of her blog http://cindyhfrench.com/about-m/ I have cleared up the issue of the ‘feed burner’ as it was a widget that I’ve now deleted but now I notice she doesn’t have a Secondary Sidebar’ How do we get it? Thanks again Diane per Cindy

Sorry but you get double responses because when I do it the first time it doesn’t show and gives me a msg to indicate I shouldn’t leave the page.. so I assume that it didn’t update and do it again…Diane

There is no secondary sidebar coded into the Bold Life theme.
Bold Life theme description http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/bold-life/
Bold Life live demo site http://boldlifedemo.wordpress.com/We cannot edit templates or themes http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/editing-themes/ The CSS upgrade cannot be used to add a sidebar to pages which do not have one already. That would require hacking of the underling PHP script files, which we cannot do on free hosted WordPress.com blog . http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions
You need to choose another theme that has a secondary sidebar coded into it. See > Sidebars and other widget areas: number and position

Hi, can someone answer me on this? I got on a word press blog that I contribute to occasionally and I posted a 750 words (approx) comment.
When I tried to post it I received a message that I needed to log in. I couldn’t remember my password correctly and had to retrieve a link by e-mail to create a new one.
When I tried to get back to my text after logging in I noticed that my comment had disappeared.
Is there anyway that I could retrieve it some where or was it just washed out? I know I should have don a “copy” but I didn’t think. Thanks for anyone’s reply.
