  why couldn’t I register id mmlubis but I couldn’t find mmlubis.wordpress.com or mmlubis.com?

  If a username is unavailable it means that username is in use (or has been in use) somewhere on WordPress.com. The user just isn’t using the URL mmlubis.wordpress.com.
