Asking for readers' email before showing the complete post

  I want to show a limited part of the post to my blog visitors, and ask for their email before they can see the complete post. How does this work on wordpress.com blogs, if at all?

  I use the Hemingway Rewritten theme and I publish posts mostly (not pages). And I have not purchased the website, domain etc etc

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi!

  The kind of feature you describe is currently unavailable with WordPress.com. One workaround might be to make a post to show the limited part and then link the reader to a password protected post. At some point you can have the readers sign-up and in doing so you can email them the password. You can add a password by changing the post visibility. WordPress has a guide:
