Asking me to pay for the domain I already paid for

    I received an email from wordpress asking me to link my domain name. However when I follow the steps to complete this i am taken to a page asking me to pay $300. I already paid for my domain name, why am I being asked to pay an extra $300?

    If you want to use your custom domain on the wordpress.com platform, you must upgrade to a paid plan,

    Thank you for your response. $300 a year is too much for me. Can I cancel the website with wordpress and keep the domain i paid for?

    Hello there,

    It’s possible to keep just the domain, but in order to set a custom primary domain, the site would need to be on a paid plan.

    Which domain are you looking to restore: collectivestruggle.com or sturggleisreal.com?
