Asking “Thesacredpath” for help

    hi thesacredpath:

    I am new with blogs and it is a liitle overwhelming at first. i am trying to hide one page which i needed for verification purposes on google master but i do not want it to appear on the menu bar.

    I did what wordpress told me to do but the page is still there……I followed how to hide a page widget…

    Could you help me with this…….

    P.S:
    How do you put the part where people contact you on your blog so they need to put their email address and contact info….? that’s was very nice…i need to do the same…..

    The google verification page has to remain accessible to google so you don’t really want to “unpublish” it or hide it per say. My suggestion is to make it a child of another page such as your contact page. That way it will not show up in the top navigation on your theme.

    Open the google verification page in the page editor, and in the “attributes” section on that page, select the “contact” page as the parent.

    For the contact page, open your contact page, put in whatever introductory text you want, then switch to the HTML tab and paste the following into the body of the page:

    [contact-form]

    Before saving or clicking the “update page” button, go to the discussion section (typically below the text area) and turn comments off for your contact page otherwise it will confuse things because there will be two text boxes on the page.
