Assign my DreamHost domain to WordPress

    I have attempted to sign my DreamHost domain up for a basic hosting plan with WordPress, but Word Press gives me the following message:
    We’re unable to add hosting for that domain at this time. Please select another domain or go back and ‘Choose the a domain later’.
    Can you please help me to set up my domain?

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet
