Assign Roles without WP-Admin

    Hi!

    I am searching for a way to let certain roles (Moderators) assign roles to other users without accessing the WP admin page.

    While I found the option to give them the rights to assign roles in certain plug-ins I just couldn’t figure out if there is a way to assign them through a member list.

    I set up a hidden member list which allows certain roles to edit, delete and flag User profiles but there is no way to assign roles through that as of now.

    Any chance to add that function without giving my Moderators full access to the WP-Admin Page?

    On what site are you working? There’s no such thing as a Moderator user role on WordPress.com, nor in the open source WordPress software itself.

    If you’re working on a stand-alone WordPress site and using a particular plugin to add the Moderator user role to your site, please contact support for that plugin directly for help with this.
