Assign the same layout to different pages

Hello, I’m new to WP and I want to add to my site (Awaken free template) a dynamic page looking exactly as the template main page (three images tiled etc.) but collecting only the articles of one category. I tried either creating a new page or simply creating a menu item and associating a category to it. In both cases I didn’t get the result I wanted (no tiled boxes, just a list of articles). Thinking the tile boxes are something added to the template layout, i tried to look for them in the template widget, but I can’t find them. Would you please help me to solve the problem? Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english.

Unfortunately I can’t provide the blog’s link, since I’m running it locally on my PC.
It seems as if the Theme (Awaken) doesn’t allow to create more pages and display the slideshow with different content in them.
I asked the Theme developpers too and I’m waiting for an answer.
