Assigning categories to certain sections? Category keys?
-
I have a grungezine template. In the read me file it says:
“Open news.php, find line ” <?php $my_query = new WP_Query(‘showposts=5&cat=1’); ” and replace the cat id with your own.”
and
“Open tabs.php, find line ” <?php query_posts(‘cat=1&showposts=5’); ?> ” and replace the cat id with your own which you want it to appear on the sidebar.”
I have a category simply labeled “News” so I replace cat with news. But everything, including my posts labeled as “Featured” were under the News column.
I have a “Recent Entries” column which would be posts labeled as “Featured” and a “News” column with posts labeled as “News” but everything I post goes into both columns. My page is here: www. nerdityfap.com
