Hello again. I’m pretty sure you and I discussed this yesterday. You can only do this if your are using the inove theme where it’s a feature. The other alternatives are to choose a theme that does not display widgets on every page. Or perhaps purchsing a CSS ugrdae and oing the work yourself.

iNove, and P2: sidebar can be deactivated (under Appearance > iNove Theme Options / P2 Options; option applies to the blog in general – all dynamic and static pages). http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/11/12/widgets-on-pages-or-single-posts/

we were talking about customizable headers and home page issues…
so if i got a theme that doesnt have wigits on every page, are they just one columm then?
which themes are these?if i got the inove theme, down the road if i learned the css stuff could i customize the header?

You answers are found in the post to which I linked.
(1) The inove theme has a feature whereby you can choose which pages widgets are displayed on. One can put only an itty bitty logo on the righthand corner of the inove theme and that’s it.
(2) In the P2 theme the sidebar can be inactivated – result no widgets.
(3) Once a theme has been CSS customized, if it had a customizable header previousl,y then the image uploader can no longer be used. The image must be linked to in the CSS sytlesheet. -
im just trying to find an adequate theme so i can get this dumb thing done.
