Hello there,
i had my website developed by a company called ‘logo cottage’. My website has been down for around 1 week and says contact host provider. The company are not contactable AT ALL. A look on trust pilot shows they have been scamming people for the last few months, so clearly i have been done.
Im worried now as i have no access to my webitse and want to move it away to another provider, however when i try and gain admin access to my site, it doesnt recognise my email or log in.
I really am totally lost as what to do. It took so long and cost so much to have my site made, that i dont want to pay again to have work duplicated.
Does anyone have an idea of what can be done.

I’m so sorry to hear that! If you’ll send a link to the site we could likely confirm whether you need to contact the host or whether it’s a domain or WordPress issue.
If it is the host’s issue, your best bet will be to work with them, or restore a backup with another provider.

That’s a very unfortunate situation to be in, and very sorry to hear about this.
As this site is not with WordPress.com – there’s not a lot we can do with regards to the current build.
