  I have a free website so I guess you can’t help. I have been paying host co for SSL certificate not realising WordPress provide this anyway. Please tell me where I can get help. I am absolutely not technical – a bit technophobic. Thanks

  The reply I got from neo44458232 was a comment rather than an answer and when I clicked on see more it took me to a commercial carpet site. Should this happen?

  Note this is the support forum for free sites hosted at WordPress.com. You’d only need to purchase SSL if your site was elsewhere. What is the full address of your site? Perhaps you are seeking support in the wrong place?

  What I need is some advice on how to back up safely and then update and then save my site to my computer as well as having it on WordPress. Not even sure if that is possible. Thank you.
