Assistance In Getting Blog Listed Onto Google (WordPress.com User)

    Dear WordPress,

    I have started my blog over 4 weeks ago and my site does not appear to be listed on Google. Could somebody please give me some assistance or any idea as to when it may appear within Google search results? I have already made my blog ‘Public’ in my settings, and I know that on average it takes 4-6 weeks to submit a site to Google, but is there anything else I can do as a WordPress.com user?

    I cannot use Yeost SEO or any of the plugins because I have not upgraded to the business plan – therefore, there appears to be no feasible way for me to verify my website, in order to use Google Search Console, so’s that I can submit a sitemap.

    Simply put, is there ANY way for me to help get my site listed onto Google search engine, or is it just a matter of me waiting until the site finally gets ‘submitted’?

    Hi there,

    I have started my blog over 4 weeks ago and my site does not appear to be listed on Google.

    Honestly it typically takes about 6 weeks for most sites to show up in Google. It also depends on how you’re writing and what words you’re searching for. Have you tried setting up webmaster tools in the meantime though?
