  Hello ,
  I bought a domain name and I associated it with wordpress after I bought a hosting in ovh but I need to associate it in my site
  i need your help as soon as possible

  Hi @boutiour, it looks like you’ve got this. You would want to get a plan and map the domain using these steps:

  If your WordPress site is hosted with OVH, you’ll need to direct the domain to your hosting account there by changing its name servers: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/change-name-servers/

  Hi there!

  If you want to use your domain with the site hosted by OVH, you’ll need to contact OVH to obtain their nameservers and then add those nameservers to your domain.

  Note that you’re on WordPress.com at the moment which is different from the WordPress.org software that you run on other hosting services like OVH. There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.

  To clarify, you don’t need a site on WordPress.com if your desired site is hosted by OVH. Right now, your domain afri-store.com is pointing to a WordPress.com site. You can only point a domain to one hosting service at a time. Right now, that hosting service is us, WordPress.com. If you’d rather use the domain with OVH, that means you’ll want to change the domain’s nameservers and point it to OVH nameservers. At that point, your domain will not be hosted by us anymore.

  This is possible, but this would be at the domain registrar, which looks to to be GoDaddy.

  Hello there,

  Usually you would replace WordPress.com name servers – but you may want to double check that with OVH, just to be on the safe side.
