At first the comments box worked on my main blog page, but it has disappeared…

Comments box has disappeared from my main blog page, though it appears on separate pages. I have read everything about how to turn the comments box on, but nothing works.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The comment box is only available on individual posts and pages. It’s not available on main archive pages like your home page here:
http://defeatiningpanicattacks.wordpress.com/
If users would like to leave a comment, they’ll either need to click on the title of the post to visit the individual post or click “Leave a comment” at the bottom of the post.
If you would like to encourage readers to leave comments, it might make sense to split your content using the More tag:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
This way, readers will need to navigate to the individual post page in order to read the content (and hence be able to comment).

Thanks — that is extremely helpful and clarifying information. I guess when I first wrote the main page as a post, it had the comment section, but once I split it into pages, the main page became the archive and the comments section disappeared as a result…

Not a problem! The main page and archive shouldn’t show the comment box. However, if you click to a single page or single post, you should see the comment box there!
