    I want to do an ATAVIST site and was wondering if it still exists. At the official atavist site they ask to make a wordpress account but at wordpress it is hard for me to find anything about an atavist-integration into wordpress. If it is not exsisting, does anybody know any similar design approach (plu in or else) for wordpress? Many thanks in advance.

    Hi there,

    Atavist was bought by Automattic, the company that owns WordPress.com, two years ago, and while existing Atavist sites have been transferred to us, that platform no longer accepts new users, as explained in the notice at https://atavist.com/

    When it says “Please sign up for a WordPress.com account”, it means create a site with us instead, as it’s no longer possible to create sites on Atavist itself. You can click on My Sites ->Switch Site to see the sites that already exist in your account, and you can click the Add New Site button at the bottom of that list to create a new one.
