When I select ‘attach gallery to post’ a blank white pop-up appears. I was expecting a list of galleries to choose from. [macos high sierra; happens in safari and chrome]
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The site at http://runninghen.wordpress.com/ is completely empty and hasn’t been updated since 2010. What site are you speaking of, and where exactly are you seeing an option to attach a gallery to a post?
On WordPress.com galleries can only be created from within a post, so I think you might be using a plugin on a self-hosted WordPress installation. If that’s the case, you should instead contact support for the plugin you are using for help with this.

I’m working on ndpc.org with a different admin ID. The site has been running for several years, and I’m trying to enhance a page that has already been built. The plugin is NextGEN Gallery by Imagely. They provide no interactive support (chat, email, phone) only a knowledge base, and I haven’t yet found any reference to this problem. If you have any insights, I’d appreciate whatever you could share.

Hi there,
You can ask at their official support forum:
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/nextgen-gallery
Also, note that your site is not hosted by us (WordPress.com). It is using the self-hosted version of WordPress and it is hosted by A Small Orange.
We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us. For help with a self-hosted WordPress site you can ask over at the WordPress.org forums:

If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the self-hosted WordPress.org you can read this article:
